President, Dallas Leadership Foundation
Wil McCall is a leading authority in leadership development, having mentored hundreds of leaders nationwide. Since 2002, he has overseen the Dallas Leadership Foundation, a Texas nonprofit with a $3.5 million annual budget. With over 30 years of business experience, Wil excels in fiscal management, strategic planning, and executive coaching for nonprofit organizations. His expertise includes strategy development, community engagement, financial oversight, and program efficiency. Wil adeptly mobilizes high-performing teams to create positive community impacts. He leads a 26-member staff while providing ongoing executive coaching to other nonprofits.
Since becoming President of the Dallas Leadership Foundation, Wil McCall has transformed the organization from two annual events and an executive consultation service to six robust departments and 16 impactful programs. These initiatives now serve over 15,000 low-income individuals each year, including the incarcerated and newly released, the elderly, at-risk youth, and grassroots organizations with limited resources. Under Wil's 22 years of leadership, the Foundation has achieved significant community support and capacity-building milestones.
The Dallas Leadership Foundation, under Wil's guidance, has driven transformative initiatives:
1. Empowering Incarcerated Men: Our prison program impacts over 1,100 men annually, fostering change and maintaining a remarkable 5% recidivism rate.
2. Inspiring Youth Success: We support over 1,000 young people each year, with 97% graduating on time, equipped for their futures.
3. Revitalizing Communities: We've expanded from 2 to 13 neighborhoods in Dallas, offering home renovations, crime prevention, and sustainable revitalization plans. These initiatives highlight our commitment to nurturing stronger communities and creating meaningful change.
Wil brings a wealth of expertise and commitment to his roles, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance (Real Estate emphasis) from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Master of Nonprofit Management Degree from Notre Dame University. His leadership roles are extensive, including memberships on the Leadership Foundations Global Board, Dallas Leadership Foundation Board, The Ministry Collaborative’s National Board, and several community organizations such as Mercy Street Ministries, Faith Cooperative Federal Credit Union, and Jubilee Park Advisory Board. An ordained minister, Wil serves at Friendship West Church and is a Pastoral Fellow at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. He is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
Wil's dedication extends to his family, having been married to Debra McCall since 1992, with whom he has two adult sons, Elisha (Tre) and Timothy McCall. His diverse experience and leadership reflect his ongoing commitment to community service and spiritual guidance.
